OK. Several of the women in my life have nicknamed me "bear", including the lemur. I'm large, furry, very short sighted, often grumpy and like to hibernate. Otherwise I don't resemble a bear at all.
As to the chickenfeet, they first made their appearance at our "wedding" in Seattle. The one that featured lemur_catta in a traditional Hungarian wedding outfit, fromtheid as celebrant in leotard and cutlery mask and boegle with the all important pole. Subsequently the feet appeared at Mooseman (See icon), Burning Man 2002 and at a wedding in Ireland. When I first signed up for LJ most of the people I knew here knew me through burner events so the chickenfeet moniker seemed appropriate.
Burning Man (http://www.burningman.com/) itself or various local spin off events that tend to involve the same crowd like Moopleman (http://www.burnon.ca/Page.asp?PageID=829&ContentID=634).
