The wine rack is done
Feb. 11th, 2005 03:51 pmA couple more drill bits and a bit of klugeing and the final section of the wine rack is done. The whole storage unit has been reorganized and assorted useless junk tossed. it looks quite respectably tidy now. I can't help suspecting though that there is rather a lot of stuff still down there that I shall never use. What odds me ever needing Stubai drop pick ice tools, crampons and assorted ice screws again? I'm not sure how likely i am to ever rock climb again let alone indulge in that peculiarly masochistic occupation, ice climbing; "yes, I'm cold, wet and mortally frightened and have frostbite in a plurality of my digits, isn't this fun?" There are also sundry strange beasties designed to fool bass into thinking they are fish (the gadgets, not the bass; the bass know they are fish). And then there are my university lecture notes and exam papers in their entirety. Even if I was still capable of understanding them, I can't imagine what use they would be. Despite that they have been following me doggedly around the world for a quarter century. Odd things, notes.
