I've been trying to think up the "ten things I haven't done that you all have" and it's a virtual blank. Apart from very boring TV shows I haven't seen or (maybe) books I haven't read, I can't think of anything. I can think of quite a few more of the other kind though. So here goes:


11. Gone blind for more than a few seconds (twice actually, once for maybe half an hour)

12. Committed an indecent act in the Chapel at SEATAC

13. Broken bones that weren't my own

14. Played Bridge against Omar Sharif

15. Played rugby against teams from Tahiti and the Czech Republic

16. Driven onto an American Nuclear Bomber Base by mistake.

17. Been picked up by an SAS officer while hitch-hiking

18. Been in a full on pub brawl, bricks, broken bottles and all.

19. Had 24 stitches in a face wound (not related to 18)

20. Drunk four pints of beer through a straw.

Several hours. I was doing lights for a show and it gets really hot on lighting gantries. I'd had surgery on my lip earlier in the day. Hence the straw.
