As requested by [livejournal.com profile] oursin:

1) Total number of films I own on DVD/video:

Around 150 0n commercial DVD and at least 50 more on VCR to DVD transfers or VCD.

2) The last film I bought:

I'm not absolutely sure as I haven't been buying much recently. Probably the cheapies I bought in Thailand; Master and Commander, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Incredibles.

3) The last film I watched:

The Incredibles I think.

4) Five films that I watch a lot or that mean a lot to me

The Seventh Seal
To Have and Have Not
Casablanca
Lawrence of Arabia
Richard III (the McKellen one)

...5) Tag 5 people and have them put this in their journal:

I think the McKellen version of Richard III has to be my favorite adaptation of Shakespeare to film.

It's right up there. Others I like a lot include Zefirelli's "Romeo and Juliet, Polanski's "Macbeth", Taymor's "Titus", Branagh's "Henry V" and the version of "Twelth Night" that has Ben Kingsley in it.
