I am listening to a most fantabulous recording of Handel's Rinaldo. The cast includes Cecilia Bartoli (pant, pant) and David Daniels. Christopher Hogwood conducts. Highly recommended.

It's excellent, isn't it? I've just gone downstairs to get it, and I was a bit shocked to find that it's now five years old! Where is time going??

It is excellent. I really like David Daniels. I saw him in Serse at the COC a few years ago.

The tickets were comps which was even better. I was researching possible sponsorship opportunities. A great way to get comps.

Nice one! I'd normally feel quite jealous of businesspeople getting comps to see really good performances. But I know that you'll have appreciated it!
