Buskerfest redux

Today's trip to the market yielded a British duo doing a semi comedy acrobatic juggling number and a couple of Canadian chicks doing aerial acrobatics. All in all an hour's worth of harmless fun.

The feast of St. Lawrence starts tonight when the 'hood will reenact the martyrdom of St. L by BBQing some hapless local actor. Food, fun and frolics including the oyster shucking championships will follow in the course of the weekend.

We should be so lucky! Though by the standards of the 'acting' to which our neighbourhood gets subjected in its role as New York 2 he might even be considered an actor.
