I'm rather impressed

As a rule I'm not overly impressed with either the police or the "Intellgence" services, especially when it comes to anything that requires slightly more political nous than rigging a postal ballot in Birmingham but I must say that the investigation into the London tube bombings seems to be being handled remarkably well. If one considers the "clear up" rate on, for example, IRA bomb attacks (virtually zero unless one counts the wrongfully imprisoned) this time things appear to be proceeding remarkably expeditiously. I just hope it's not just spin.
