Back from the vet

The vet is concerned about Skinny Kitten's weight but thinks that he only thing we can do is syringe feed her and try and get some weight on that way.

In the meantime I need to procrastinate which must mean a meme, so...

Ask me for "top five" lists of pretty much anything, and I will list my top five of that thing or things.

1. Omelette. Though, arguably, omelettes are simple rather than easy. See Karl von Klausewitz On Omelettes.

2. Fresh pasta with fresh tomato and basil sauce.

3. Thai curries. Rather a lot of work but fairly idiot proof once you understand the basics. Rather the opposite of omelettes really, which require next to no work but do need a deft touch.

4. Beef daube. Idiotproof. Delicious.

5. Baked potatoes. Topped with whatever you like.

My omelettes nearly always turn into scrambled eggs. Still good in their own way, just not what I'm after. I'll have to investigate Thai curries....
