chickenfeet: (bear&leela)

The kittens are putting on weight but rather slowly. They have gained 25-50g each in the last ten days and now weigh between 300g and 450g. This, and other signs, suggest that there may be a parasite problem so I think we'll take them into the vet tomorrow and see if the vet thinks that deworming is indicated. Aside from the slightly slow growth though they are doing really well and their behavioural development seems to be quite normal.

I'm guessing that means pounce and bounce? (And the binary opposite - pass out entirely.)

Someplace, at a previous boyfriend's house, there are pictures of what one can do with kittens who are passed out entirely. Think kitten-sammitches.

I like reading about your fosters (and other stuff, too). I'm not sure if I have the strength to give up kittens I fostered, nor am I sure that the reigning feline would permit me to have them. She firmly opposes quadrapeds of any flavor.

They are not quite at the pouncing stage but definitely into leg climbing. Much totally socked out too of course. The reigning feline here has slowly got used to the idea that there are kittens around much of the time. She isn't thrilled about it but has given up active opposition.
