Ironically the Aussies are world champion whiners. I used to watch the #N rugby from Sky and the commentary team would be from the home nation. By and large the kiwis and jaapies were reasonably objective but the convicts were awful. They whined about the refereeing, 'unfair tactics', everything. It was almost impossible to listen to.
I read that on the BBC site and thought (imagine fake cockney accent) "he's havin' a larff".
It's probably true, the E&W cricket team are only wee boys compared to the "men" that made up the Aussie team, so of course they need their sweeties to keep up their strength.
