Just me being weird again

chickenfeetI rarely versify in my sleep. Still less do I compose gnomic riddles in haiku form; awake or asleep, drunk or sober, yet last night that appears to be what I did for I woke up with the following firmly stuck in my head:

Scotsmen prefer sheep
