I think I've known blind people who have seen more movies than you.

I haven't seen any of them, either. Largely because I avoid watching overhyped movies and older movies.

Well admittedly I've probably seen a minute or two of Gone with the Wind before running to another room. And I caught enough seconds of a Harry Potter movie to determine that I prefer my imaginary versions of the characters.

Avoiding overhyped movies I can understand, but avoiding older movies seems quite as silly as avoiding older books, older music or older paintings.

I hesitated over Titanic and Gone with the Wind, because I've seen bits of both. To the best of my recollection, I've seen more bits of Titanic than GwtW, so in the end I ticked the former not the latter, but you may bear that in mind should you require a tiebreaker.

I think I've seen more than half the silent version of Ben Hur (1925), but I'm guessing the one on the list is the 1959 talkie.

I'm assuming the Ben Hur is the Charlton Heston one. Did you know that Tony O'Reilly auditioned for the part?

What, as in London Irish/Heinz/Independent?

The main thing I remember about the silent one was that they kept showing us close-ups of the hero's bare legs, which I really didn't think were anything to write home about. And then it got very religious at the end. Does that happen in 1959?

Yes that AJ O'R (who is the scariest person I have ever made a business presentation to). I don't remember much about the flick except for the notorious wrist watch in the chariot race.

I've seen the Gene Wilder Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but not the Jonny Depp version. Dunno which was meant, so I'm coming clean.

It's the Wilder version. They have different titles.

Aside from brokeback mountain, which i will be seeing in a month or so, the only one which I ought to have seen but never got around to seeing is Gone with the Wind. Oh, and maybe Friday the 13th.

There are a number on that list which I'm quite proud not to have seen.

I love your Rick's icon.

There are three on that list that I would put in my top four movies I wish I hadn't wasted time and money on.

I love your Rick's icon.

Thank you

I was voting for Wonka assuming it was J Depp Esq. Also included films seen on account of offspring.
