Date: 2006-03-17 07:13 pm (UTC)Well admittedly I've probably seen a minute or two of Gone with the Wind before running to another room. And I caught enough seconds of a Harry Potter movie to determine that I prefer my imaginary versions of the characters.

Date: 2006-03-17 10:07 pm (UTC)I think I've seen more than half the silent version of Ben Hur (1925), but I'm guessing the one on the list is the 1959 talkie.

Date: 2006-03-17 11:18 pm (UTC)The main thing I remember about the silent one was that they kept showing us close-ups of the hero's bare legs, which I really didn't think were anything to write home about. And then it got very religious at the end. Does that happen in 1959?

Thank you
