Humiliation, the verdict

Two flicks each registered 33 votes; Casablanca and LOTR-FOTR. Since nobody should feel humiliated for not having seen that appalling piece of hobbit dreck (lucky, lucky gregclow), the Humiliation Grand Prize prize goes to kadenza, who wins the a 6 DVD set of the 15 hour long director's cut of Harry Hobbit and the Jedi Pirates.

I'd award an honourable mention to chocaholic7 for not having seen Pulp Fiction were it not for the fact that he watches movies less often than Margaret Thatcher used public transport.

The runner-up prize in the "lucky bastard" awards for not having seen over-hyped rubbish goes to oursin for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorceror's Stone.

A mention in despatches too for thais and gnimmel for having seen the mad Australian's latest snuff flick and an astonishment award to minx_minx for thinking that it might have had a chance!

The box office numbers for Passion of the Christ astound me. I'm not sure I know a single person who saw it (well, I probably *do*, but no one I'm close to has). Then again, I'm sure it didn't play as well here in the godless liberal northeast as it did elsewhere in the country.
