Cat fud

I just realised that we now have six kinds of cat food in stock.

• Eagle Pack Adult for the bengals
  
• Eagle Pack Kitten for Jane
  
• KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer) for the kittens
  
• Hill's Prescription Diet a/d for mixing with the KMR when the kittens are ready
  
• Hill's Prescription Die Development Formula - cans and dry - for when the kittens are fully onto solids

On occasion we also have Hill's Prescription Diet t/d which is a diabetic formula that we sometimes need for kittens who are having trouble with solids.

It's a Kitten Kommissary, which I guess makes me a Kitten Kommissar.

Pretty much. Anna has some tabby in her somewhere, manifesting in dark stripes. She showed up in our backyard, skinny, starving, pregnant, attempting to hunt birds and basically jumped into my arms when I reached down to pet her after giving her some food. We took her in, got her cared for, found homes for her kittens (with one exception we kept) so the household has two siamese, one oriental shorthair and one longhaired white cat who's wondering where all the asians came from all of a sudden. It's amusing. :)

Don't start worrying about it until there's more Cat Fud than People Fud.

But I'm assuming that you all like braised ostrich with leeks or whatever, so you can share that... ;) (Honestly. The recent food posts? Are people out of their minds? What's wrong with a decent slice of toast, I ask you? Bland Food Lovers Unite!)

There have been times that there has been more Cat Fud by weight than people fun in my house, but that's when I've been living alone and just brought home two 30# sacks of the stuff. (I'm completely indifferent to people fud, really - it's just fuel to me.)

Can't really. Pad steals Jane's food. Jane eats the bengals'. Easier to keep the kittens separate.

Nutro Max Cat Indoor formula. Wellness turkey-salmon wet food in large cans. Wellness chicken and occasionally chicken-herring in small cans. Feline greenies treats in salmon. Hyper-expensive, freeze-dried chicken bits for Girlie Girl. Cosmic catnip in the huge container.

Golly, I remember when my grandmother used to go to the butcher's and asked for some of the stuff he was about to throw away for the cats... (And they lived to respectively 16 and 13...)
