chickenfeet: (sousou)

The kittens are at the point where we really need to get them off syringe feeding and into feeding themselves. In fact, I can't recall ever having to syringe feed kittens this big. Monster is pretty good. He will lap a paste of KMR and a/d from a bowl but the other two just really aren't interested. This is time consuming and stressful and as I have been responsible for three out of four feeds today I feel pretty much kittened out. It doesn't help that they really haven't figured out the litterbox yet so my office, which houses the kitten kondo. also provides a degree of olefactory stimulation that I could live without.

Do your bigger cats help with the litter training? In Philadelphia we had a kitten who could not negotiate the litter pan at first (too young) and every time he started to go the big cat picked him up and dumped him into the pan.

We try and limit contact between the kittens and the older cats at least until the kittens have had their first lot of shots.
