The kittens who say "i"

These guys are very noisy. If the monkey goes into the kitchen he is immediately surrounded by kittens going "i", "eee", "eee eee" and equivalent. They have learnt that monkeys keep food in the kitchen but have not learnt (or choose to ignore the fact) that not every monkey trip to the kitchen involves feeding kittens.

Lest anyone feels that I am starving these guys, they get canned food three times per day and have kibble on open issue. Greedy little monsters.
