County cricket?

I'm following two county matches today; Lancashire/Middlesex of course but also Sussex/Yorkshire since Sussex are pushing Lancs hard in the championship. I can't help noting that at the moment at Hove two Pakistanis are bowling to two Australians. It's not hard to see why England have depth problems. Mind, even i England had as much depth as Australia, Duncan Fletcher would still stick with his 'chosen few' however awful they were.

And it's a New Zealander who's about to make us bat again, but then we relied rather heavily on an Aussie in our first innings. Having said that, England have done rather well with their second choice players recently - all the late call-ups for the Indian tour came off, partly because they came straight from the A-tour in the West Indies.
