It's Pride Weekend here in the big smoke so the gayer element among one's friends will be being even more obviously gay than usual. Last night the lemur and I started off the big weekend at a rather excellent party hosted by mizalaina and sesby at their rather lovely place in the Annex. I met several people who were previously just LJ names, notably krustukles and tankyouverymuch. It's always good to be able to put a person to an LJ name. Conversation covered boxing, cricket and that hardy perennial, surviving one's first winter in Toronto. The girlz provided a fantastic selection of really good vegetarian snacks, the weather cooperated, the beer was cold and the lemur found a tree to climb. The only blemish was that we forgot to go and pet Dobby the one eyed sphinx cat.

Purrrrr. The pleasure was mutual. If you can bear the presence of our malodorous sofa (we're gonna have to trash the poor thing eventually), and four high-traffic litter boxes, we'd love to have you over some time when we have kittens to show. Kittens, drinks and a film perhaps?
We'll make sure there are some non-stinky things to sit on....
