I haven't seen any beaver down here but I have seen redtailed hawks slaughtering the local pigeon population.

Warning people about beavers would probably be seen as unpatriotic! It would be like posting "Beware of the Mountie" signs.

Oh dear. I remember legionseagle talking about the beaver round your parts, but her focus was on them holding hands as they floated along.

That makes me laugh. As a dog owner, I know that my dog would deserve a bite if she tangled with a beaver that was protecting himself. She would never do it again, as with the skunk.
