Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] fearsclave:

I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions: no more, no less. Ask me anything you want. I reserve the right to fabricate, spoof, fabulate, fictionalize, de-incriminate and otherwise cover my ass should you ask something that could land the bloodthirsty hounds of the law on my trail.

Then I want you to go to your journal, copy and paste this, allowing your friends (including me) to ask you anything.

  1. How did you and [livejournal.com profile] lemur_catta meet?
  2. If you had to select one living species for extinction, and one species to bring back from the brink, what would they be and why?
  3. Have you ever felt completely whole and at ease with the world? When?

1. On the internet. Yeah, I know. In operson we first met when she met me off my plane at SFO. She was sitting crosslegged in a chair. She was so tiny. She looked like a pixie on a toadstool.

2(a) Blackflies. That should be obvious enough!
2(b) Misread that first time. From the brink? Either polar bears or tigers. I like large furry predators.

3. Only fleetingly. There have been times when I've been climbing or wilderness camping that have been zen like.

  • Which one decision that you have made (rather than just fallen into) do you most regret?
  • Which one decision that you have made (rather than just fallen into) are you most glad that you did?
  • Why cats, and not dogs?

I won't post this in my LJ, but you're welcome to ask 3 questions of me.

1. Getting married the first time.

2. Learning to climb to get over my fear of heights. (I'm still afraid of heights but climbing has been pretty good to me)

3. The lemur wanted a cat. I'd never had a pet more interesting than a hamster and I wasn't even sure I liked cats.

In a perfect world, what would be your job?
What's the best thing about living in Canada?
What is your favourite art form?

1. I rather like the idea of working for a progressive think tank. More realistically I'd be very happy in a consulting role where I could focus on client work and staff development and not worry too much about business development.

2. Not the weather, that's for sure. Lack of drama I think. It's a tolerant, easy place to live with all the basic stuff one needs to get on with life. That said, my experience of 'living' as opposed to visiting, is limited to Ottawa and Toronto. If I lived in Butthole, SK pop 120 I might have a different view.

3. Livres d'artiste. Painting would be a close second.
