1. I'm listed in the relevant climbing guide as a member of two first ascent teams. One route was in the Madawaska Highlands and the other at Lac Poisson Blanc.*
2. I tried, unsuccessfully, to tickle for trout at the state hatchery at Lake Taupo. One can't take a bear anywhere?
3. The plastic surgeon I was referred to after my face got cut up in a car accident was called Butcher.
4. Back in the days of MS-DOS I was adept at cracking the copy protection on software.
5. I published an article about business process re-engineering a year before Hammer's book came out. Index came from old Vladivostok telephone directory.
6. I once won a bet by eating a whole baby Wensleydale cheese that had been rolled down Great Shunner Fell.
* This is a fine example of Canadian linguistic politics at it's crassest. The body of water in question was known for years as Whitefish Lake. Being Quebec, linguistic correctness demanded that it be given a French name but the official cartographers were too gormless to come up with the etymologically correct translation of Lac Corégone.
