lemur_catta and I were walking home from the St. Lawrence Market this morning when conversation turned from why people believe in gravity but not evolution to speculation about a quantum theory of astrology. Following speculation about the possibilities of colliding astrologers at very high velocities, my beloved announced that she was surely a lunon attractor (so very true). Naturally I put a QFT interpretation on this and suggested that perhaps she was a singularity in the loony field which led to thoughts of naked singularities in loony fields at which point this post is terminated for the protection of our younger readers.
