I think I win at Wigan points being as how I have worked in Wigan, read the book, watched Wigan Rugby League from the Heinz corporate box and visited the pier with a boss whose grandfather ran a pub in Wigan, which we found (and very squalid it was).

You definitely win on Wigan points! But we did once ascend the Wigan Flight of locks (http://www.leedsliverpoolcanal.co.uk/photos.php?gallery=flight) whilst on a canal holiday some years ago.
