chickenfeetI was expecting to be struggling for numbers this morning. Three of my guys are playing for the province and three are injured so having thirteen dressed wasn't too shabby. Fortunately the opposition were short too so a 13 a side game it was. We played so much better than two weeks ago, despite having lost several of our best players. The support play was better, the handling was better, the ball into contact and rucking was amazingly better. These guys have made a ton of progress in a very short time. Anyway, we won 14-5 in a very even contest so we all went home happy.
Towards the end of the game news arrived that our U14s had narrowly beaten Lindsay who were widely considered favourites for the championship, sp w00t!
