The vet

Padmini was a good little bengal at the vet. She complained a bit but didn't bite or scratch anyone. She even sat still on the scale. This is in sharp contrast to her mother who is the terror of the local veterinary community. Leela is so hostile to strange cats that she is even being aggressive to Pad right now because she doesn't smell right.

Poor Pad. Even though she made angry noises at the vet she was still a sweet kitten just looking to hide her head in any sheltering armpit. I'm glad she doesn't have to go again for another year. Leela was playing with her snake and tolerating Pad's presence a moment ago. She shouldn't be growly for long.
