Good things about today

Last night we won the grand prize in the draw at the Salt Mines Christmas Bash. It was a portable GPS so I made t'lemur go up and claim it as she needs it much more than I.

I bought an Epoisses for $4.99. It is little on the ripe side but that's how we like them. FTW.

I have a large piece of dead pig roasting in the oven. This seems like a reasonble response to impending freezing white stuff.

I am playing Mornington Crescent on Facebook. This makes me unreasonably happy. I also played my first game of Civ IV. I quite like it but I'm not convinced the franchise has made any real breakthroughs since II.

Isn't it wonderful? I'd play it all day if I didn't have life to go to.

I bet it was fab to be at the SMCB with the lemur. I bet she looked wonderful and every man there (and most of the women) would have been admiring.

I know. That's how I like all cheeses of that type but here they tend to sell them a little under ripe and at 4-5 times what I paid yesterday.
