I am currently playing a recording of Rossini's Cat Duet (Victoria de los Angeles and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf) to Jane to see how she reacts.

No reaction at all! She just stayed in my lap looking for scritches.

They played an aria from Otello on R3 the other morning, and there's a section in it which is note for note the final section of the cat duet. I love it when composers plagiarise themselves...
