I am still seriously lurgified. I have the hacking cough that I have had for months and now I appear to have a cold too.

Dragged my butt to Scallywags today for juniors' registration. It looks like we will have a pretty decent U16 program this year. Funnily enough, we were delayed from setting up because the room we were planning to use was occupied by the Toronto branch of the Arsehole supporters club. I valiantly resisted the urge to prance around shouting "2-1, 2-1, 2-1".

Don't know if you've seen today's Guardian (http://education.guardian.co.uk/higher/news/story/0,,2273417,00.html), but our mutual friend is tipped to succeed Brown - though I think that's partly the headline-writer hyping a throwaway line in the text.
