Cranking out the clicks

I cycled to Port Credit and back this morning. That's about a 60km round trip. Port credit is SW of here. When I left the ind was NE 11km/hr so not much of a boost. By the time i got back it was 39km/hr gusting to 56km/hr and still NE which is a bugger of a headwind. I was barely making any ground at all when it was gusting. I am tired.

I read the football results. I am also bouncy!

And I am back from beating the Tykes (http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/countycricket2008/engine/current/match/319831.html), having taken a friend to see her first live cricket match. She got the full Old Trafford experience, including sun so hot we were forced to take cover, a thunderstorm including lightning and torrential rain, brief tours of the pavilion, museum and press box, and of course most importantly Lancs beating the Tykes. She seemed quite enthusiastic so with luck we can do it again some time when her fiancee is also available (she'd had to go to London to see her mother who is seriously ill).
