The Met High Definition broadcasts are finally coming to DVD or, at any rate, six of them are. They include Peter Grimes, Manon Lescaut and The First Emperor.

Excellent, especially as I missed Manon Lescaut this year, and of course I missed The First Emperor because I didn't know about the broadcasts last year. (I also missed Romeo et Juliette, though, so I wish they would put that one on DVD too.)

Thank you for posting this-I'm very excited! (although I hate Manon Lescaut) The movie broadcasts are my husband's new favourite thing.
