It's International Buskerfest here in the ST. Lawrence this weekend and this year the recipients of any resultant largesse are epilepsy charities. The slogan for the event is "Epilepsy... out of the Shadows" to which I keep mentally adding "and into the Bright Flashing Lights".

at LSE, at the Union meeting, the tradition was to throw balls of paper at the speaker. Some disabled people made a fuss about it and it was banned but I think nobody notices. Anyway once a lady was onstage talking about how the flashing disco lights at the LSE disco wasn't good for her epilepsy. Anyway, a barrage of paper came her way and then someone shouted 'for God's sake, she's epileptic! Throw it more slowly!'
