Old job done. New job; a challenge.

Just ate a fantastic (I say it wot shouldn't) Indian vegetarian dinner; cauliflower, Punjabi dal, dilled potatoes, channa, saag, long beans, corn bread, yoghourt with chilli and green coriander. Yum!

My daughter is lovely. Wish her luck in Melbourne.

Somebody managed to reverse into my bus at a stop light this afternoon. Automatic transmissions are not idiot proof.

You know, Indian food is the one thing that I miss about living in the city. And welcome to the Technocracy! Room 101 is that way.

I could cook the Indian food in the sticks!

I hit the road running with the technocracy. Its the OHA conference next week and I appear to be one of the technocracy's prime exhibits!

I wasn't hungry until I read your post. Corn bread? Not Naan? Drat, now I'm really hungry. Naan!

I think that in India naan is more restaurant food than home food. It needs a tandoor. There are loads of Punjabi flat breads and corn 'tortillas' are quite common. They certainly work well with the food.

I'm glad you've escaped those salt mines. Good look with the next ones... And good luck, too, to your daughter.

For myself, I think I'm *more* likely to make a silly mistake in an automatic than in a manual. Still, it takes some doing to actually hit something, either way.

Good luck to you and Kate (I think?) You can cook that for me any time.
