Scotch and Soprano

Back from a wee event at Brookfield Place. The Balvenie is the "official" Scotch of the Canadian Opera Company and today they had a Scotch tasting combined with a few arias from Mireille Assselin. For the record Balvenie "Signature" is considerably more interesting (fuller, more complex) than the "Doublewood" bottling though the latter is still a decent drink. The acoustics in the galleria at Brookfield Place are appalling.
