I got the highest German, English Literature and English Language GCSE* marks in our town (two large-ish secondary schools) and was among the highest in the county too.

I don't feel I've really lived up to this since. :-/



* 1988, the year where the German exam was really just the renamed O Level paper. English was all coursework, though.

When I was Anneth's roomate in college (is that suprising?), I covered the walls and ceiling in tinfoil (the key to my personality!). It made a very pleasant rustling noise.

I used to be a compulsive shoplifter. Was almost arrested twice. Happily, however, that was quite a few years ago now.

(Why do I always feel compelled to make the most dramatic revelations possible when memes like this come up, instead of saying something like, my favorite food is white pizza with garlic and artichokes?)

[Giggles] Probably the latter. I don't know, really, I think it was mostly a self-destructive impulse, associated with the more serious periods of depression in my life. (I did enjoy possessing a lot of the stuff I stole, but some of it I would give away or throw away.)

I used to have over 3000 comic books until I started selling some of them to raise money for other obsessions. I currently have over 600 CDs and have trouble finding room for them all. I have four computers and over 600 computer games.

I don't know if this is the definitive key to my personality, but it does explain why my apartment is always so cluttered.
