Observations on Facebook
Aug. 22nd, 2007 09:54 amI was initially very sceptical about Facebook and signed up more as an experiment than anything else. I am beginning to see some interesting features beyond the inane, if harmless, Vampires vs Werewolves type applications.
There are far, far more people on Facebook than LJ. It's thus quite a useful tool for things like event invitations and for just staying vaguely in touch with people one doesn't interact with much.
I'm also intrigued by how many people I know have connections that I had no idea about. I've run into two such just this morning. It's truly a small and rather complex world.
Scrabble. Totally addictive. 'nuff said.
