Feeling a bit of a wreck

Considering the most energetic thing I did this weekend was walk down to Cherry Beach I think it's a bit unfair that I look and feel like I played a hard game of rugby. Part of the problem is that the evil ankle® has decided to play up again. The rest of the damage is due to assorted kittens using the mighty slopes of Mt. Chickenfeet for crampon practice. I'll never be cruel to an icefall again.

I'm off to the vet at lunchtime to get the little monsters checked out again. I think it will be a clean bill of health but time will tell.

Back from the vet

Two of the kittens are doing really well. The little grey and white guy has gained some weight but not nearly as much as he should have. He got dosed again for coccidia and we are going to try him on a different kind of food to see if that helps. We also got a fecal sample off to the lab for a full work up to see if they can find anything.

A common theme in recent debates among m'learned friends has been how obsessed with things that aren't of much concern to normal people the meeja are. It occurs to me that most "analysis" in the public prints is navel gazing by a piece of bellybutton lint.
