Winding down

chickenfeetI'm beginning to be ready for our trip to California. I coached my last session of the season last night. The boys will have one more practice with the other coach before the Provincial Finals. I said my goodbyes and wished them luck. They should do well. They are a very talented and motivated group.
Today, I'm tidying up work loose ends. I'm also fighting acute separation anxiety. I don't think I've been away from Jane for more than one night since she joined the menage. We have someone staying in the apartment while we are away but she is funny with strangers and, while she may have a surrogate monkey, I shall be catless. This disturbs me.
