It's official
Apr. 24th, 2007 02:31 pmI got my Xray results today, The good news is that nothing is cracked and the discs are OK. The not so good news is that I have spurring and degenerative damage to the C5/6/7 vertebrae and that if I want to keep the use of my left arm rugby is not a terribly good idea.
So I am now, officially, an ex rugby player.
ETA: There's no reason to suppose the neck problem originated with rugby. It may well have been started by my near fatal car crash in 1979 or by many other things. Also, although I'm disappointed and would have liked to play for a few more years, I'll be 50 in a few months so I've had a pretty good run.
